Reserve ranger-led field trips at least two weeks in advance. Programs are first come, first served, take about 1 to 1.5 hours, and can serve up to 60 students. Self-guided field trips are also available.

About This Deal
Palo Alto Battlefield National Historical Park helps student groups study the first major battle of the U.S.–Mexican War at the place where it happened. Rangers can adapt programs to a group's grade level and schedule. Most activities take place outdoors. The park's official education request form specifically includes homeschool groups.
