Guided field lessons are available Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m. to noon. Extended self-guided visits are available Tuesday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Groups must submit an inquiry and receive confirmation before making plans.
Cost & Registration
Guided field lessons cost $7 per child and serve up to 75 students. Extended self-guided visits cost $5 per child and serve up to 150 students. One adult is free for every 10 students; each additional adult is $3. Advance confirmation and payment or a purchase order are required.
About This Deal
Quinta Mazatlán turns its urban wildlife sanctuary and historic home into an outdoor classroom. Educator-led field lessons use age-appropriate learning pods. Self-guided groups can reserve an outdoor classroom and use prepared adventure plans and extension activities. Topics connect ecology, stewardship, art, history, habitats, adaptations, and field science.
