About This Deal

Families can view artifacts, books, and papers about Salado’s settlement and heritage, then visit the nearby grounds of historic Salado College. Plaques in College Park explain the college’s story. Groups can arrange a tour with the museum.

The museum preserves local pioneer history and the cultural backgrounds of people who settled the area, with particular attention to Scottish settlers. It occupies a stone building in downtown Salado and presents educational exhibits and programs. College Park lies just south of the museum.
