Request group pricing through the tour form. General admission is $10 for adults and $7 for children ages 3–11; children age 2 and under are free.
About This Deal
Groups can request a museum tour for elementary, middle, or high school students. The request form offers 90-minute and two-hour visits and asks organizers to supply preferred times, grade levels, and student and adult counts. A college campus or Rangerette Showcase tour can be requested as an additional interest.
The East Texas Oil Museum is on the Kilgore College campus. It uses period artifacts, oral histories, and original documents to explain life in East Texas during the 1930s oil boom. Its focus includes the independent producers and communities involved in discovering and developing the oilfield.
