About This Deal
Homeschool Days are scheduled every second and fourth Friday throughout the summer season. This event provides a meet and greet socialization swim for local community homeschoolers.
The Texas Pool is a 168,000-gallon saltwater pool with a design that features different depth areas, including a shallow wading area and a 10-foot-deep section. The pool is open to the public, including tourists, visitors, and members..
Visitors are welcome to bring outside food and drinks, including packing a picnic lunch or bringing burgers to cook on the gas grills; however, alcohol and glass containers are not allowed. The pool does not have changing rooms or lockers since it is a historic swimming pool built in 1961.
The pool is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is managed by a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
