About This Deal

The Tampa Metropolitan Area YMCA Homeschool Program provides a comprehensive enrichment experience for children ages 6 to 12. The semester-long program features two 1.5-hour sessions per week with activities designed to keep children active while supporting their educational development.

Activities include physical education, health and wellness education, swimming, social-emotional learning, team building, and special enrichment activities. Each session provides opportunities for socialization and learning in a structured environment. The program is offered at five Tampa YMCA Family Centers, and the YMCA accepts Step Up for Students funds for eligible families.

Semesters follow the Hillsborough County School District calendar with Fall and Spring semesters available. Locations include Bob Sierra Youth & Family Center in Carrollwood, North Brandon (Seffner), South Tampa, Spurlino, and Plant City.
